Our policy

Fundamental training is REALLY needed to be “practice what you preach”. These founding policies are used by individuals and by organizations working with volunteers who want to change their privacy and in their work policies. The policies are written from our experience down with our NGO partner and our own acquired knowledge. Our policy is a short draft we update

Fauna policy

Food policy

Food waste

Animal products

Palm oil

Waste policy


The person and organization reuse everything that can be recycled, use creativity and seek out recycling stores. It is only thrown out when it is useless and is purchased new if it is an EMERGENCY.

Hygiene policy

Hang out with the animals

Personal hygiene

The person is trained in 1-minute proper hand washing. Personal hygiene MUST be raised in the prevention of the transmission of bacteria, viruses and STDs.

Kitchen hygiene

The dishes are changed every single day after dinner. The mushrooms are cooked briefly between rooms and the kitchen is washed down at least once a month. If the person has to wash their own dishes, glasses and cutlery after meals, wash them more thoroughly than what the person would do at home.

The first aid kit

The first aid kit is a closed box that ONLY freshly washed hands go into. Everything that is opened is thrown out and the box is dry, cool and in a dark place. There is a person responsible for this box so that hygiene is kept. Things are thrown out that have passed the expiration date.

Education stays

Violation of an agreement before the person arrives or during stay is NOT accepted, and it is the responsibility of the organization to plan it in advance and be open, to adapt it to any eventuality. wants from the person.


The person may be too nervous to go directly to the organization if something is wrong. It is the person’s responsibility to address the organization. It is the responsibility of the organization to check in with the volunteer on two-man teams, if the person is missing something and is happy with the organization.


The person has the option of paying from home. If something happens in the person’s privacy that is critical and they choose to go home, the rest of the money will be refunded from the missing stay. From the transfer, a fee will be deducted as required by the bank.

Communication and personal responsibility

The first aid kit

The person has their own basic first aid package with them. When the person is exposed to an accident or illness, organization will step in. It is a requirement that the organization has a first aid kit that covers most accidents and illnesses. If the person needs to go to a doctor, in the bad emergency, an employee will come along.


The volunteer person or another employee goes to the sick person every morning to hear how the person is doing and if there is anything the organization can do to make it more comfortable for the person.

Leisure policy


To celebrate goodbye with a person, birthday or a successful experience in organization, it is allowed to drink a pedestal, if drinking more, have person free the day after. If it is not complied with, alcohol will be banned and repeated, the person will be sent home.


It is NOT allowed to take any kinds of drugs. If there is suspicion, the person will be sent to the doctor, to be tested, at his own expense. If the test shows negative, organization will pay the money back to the person, if positive, the person will be reported to the police and sent home.

Cigarette shutters

The organization has ONLY a place where the person is allowed to smoke. There is a bucket of water on site and another bucket that the shutters are put down. If a cigarette code is thrown outside this area, people will be allowed to smoke at the organization. If repeated, the person will be sent home.
